Pansy's Patch Quilt Studio opened in July of 2020.  We feel so blessed to have been able to purchase an incredible building on the square in Albany, Missouri, which allows us to showcase our bright, wild, colorful quilts which is our signature style.

Twenty-plus years ago, Misty Wilczek, the owner of Pansy's Patch, was digging through stored "stuff" and ran across a large stack of nine-patch blocks that her great-grandmother, Pansy, was working on when she passed away at age 103.  Misty decided to put some of those blocks together to make quilts for her sons, Sage and Patrick.  She headed to the fabric store for the first time in years and WOW--the colors, fabrics, choices!  She was hooked.

Never one to follow a pattern, Misty started designing her own quilts.  When other quilters began asking for the pattern, she started writing them up and they are now available exclusively at Pansy's Patch Quilt Studio.

Misty surrounds herself with fabrics that she loves and wants to use in her own quilts. Because Misty selects fabrics that she would use, Pansy's Patch has an unusual mix of fabrics from a variety of different designers and manufacturers.

Most of all, Misty loves sharing those fabrics and the inspiration they provide with her customers to help them create their own special quilts.  Her (and the studio's) motto is "Express your soul, one patch at a time".
